Inception Trailer Analysis.

The music in the trailer sounds similar to a ticking clock this implies that time goes faster in dreams, it shows that he has no control over what happens. The music is very dramatic, it's also quite tense so the audience will feel this.
Christopher Nolan's name is shown and tells us he directed 'The Dark Knight' so audiences know that Inception will be a good movie because of the previous success of his last film.
The text when shown zooms in and captures the audiences attention and makes them remember who's in it and who directed it.
The voiceovers are made up of dialogue which tells the story. It's mainly Leonardo Dicaprio's dialogue but it is occassionally other people. The clips in the trailer are episodic and the dialogue flows over them so together they tell the story. The clips are fast and sharp which keeps the audiences interested and wondering whats going on.
Legendary Pictures, Warner Bros and Syncopy have all worked on 'The Dark Knight' with Christopher Nolan and because they've worked together previously audiences know what they're capable of creating.
