Audience Feedback: 3

  •  How we implemented effects onto selected camera angles. It changed the viewing perception of the clip, either making them looker darker/sinister or more surreal.
  • The constant use of the grey-scale effect, it carried on and made the trailer flow. It added an atmosphere to the trailer and created a boost of energy when watching it. They liked how the grey-scale linked to the main protagonist of the piece, which was the main female character.

  • Most people, who watched the trailer, liked this clip in particular. The main reason was how it shudder, creating multiple images of her scratching the floor with nails. It made her character look made, but also made it look surreal. It gave the character more meaning, and made them question what's wrong with her.
  • Another point was the soundtrack of the trailer. They liked how it got louder as the trailer progressed, it was reaching its climatic ending and raising the tension of the story and the characters. It gave the trailer more energy, one person said the music made them keep watching the trailer.

Clare Meadows: Magazine and Poster Draft

The above image is the main look of my front cover, this one gives away another character which is crucial to the plot of the film, this one being male. It includes the female character, again, but her image is more dominant. I have decided to do this because it shows she is the character to look out for, and all of the trouble comes from her.

This image shows the mast-head of my magazine. The title of my magazine is called 'Movie Mayhem' or 'MM' for short. It is placed in the top-left hand side of my magazine, it makes the image below more dominating, as it lets the image be placed center focus of the paper.
This is the drawn version of what my poster should aim to look like, this is the main teaser poster of our production. The colours used will be blacks, grays and whites, this links to the conventions of a psychological thriller poster, the text of the poster is either going to be red or white.

The placing of the title is on the female face, this attracts us to the girl in the image as her affiliation of being the protagonist or antagonist is unknown.

There will be faded images behind her face, which links to the plot, such as: The other characters involved in the film, locations and props.

The is my first draft, any changes of the poster will be updated.
